ahh.. i see.. im still new about mcafe. i just installed it last 2 weeks.. im not sure about the patches..when i open my "about enterprise" button.. installed patches is zero.. is this good? or bad..  and what about this hotfixes.. just dont know what are this .. but if this can help fix some issues or improve my mcafee then i wil try.. thanks for the reply in advance

...when i open my "about enterprise" button.. installed patches is zero.. is this good? or bad.. and what about this hotfixes.. just dont know what are this .. but if this can help fix some issues or improve my mcafee then i wil try.. thanks for the reply in advance

No it's not good.

I'll send you latest Patch 8 and HotFix in few minutes via PM.

Please apply them to your McAfee and provide us info's did you resolve problem with Windows Security Center (check also again "about" McAfee)??

helo there.. i just installed the patch 8 and also the hotfix.. the first time i installed it my mcafee vse 8.5i + antispyware.. they crashed.. not the os only the mcafee.. they keep on disappearing from the system tray.. soo i remove and tried to reinstall them.. this time i didnt include the antispyware.. then amazingly it works.. no problems.. now my vista has now buffer overflow protection.. then next i install the hotfix 472021.. no problems incountered.. so i did what you told me.. it is much better now.. BUT.. still mcafee cant report the windows security center.. only on vista had this  problem.. still my antivirus works just fine.. ARIGATOU GOZAIMASU .. oh yeah one more thing when i install the patch in my xp.. the anti spyware was uninstalled.. is this bad?,

I think that AS modul will work if you apply them after Hotfix, anyway McAfee provide you very good protection even without AntiSpyware modul.
