I feel there's performance leaks in VSE 8.7i, I'm waiting for official product and first patch.

I think that this version is still in BETA phase.

I am certainly looking forward to the official release. Hopefully, it works even better than  8.5 on an x64 system. Does anyone know probable time of the release?

Is there any difference between 8.5 and 8.7?  I've used both, 8.7 longer actually and I don't really see a major difference superficially at least.
