hey every1 my gf has something wrong with her computer


ok so i don't know when she got it, it was like 2 weeks ago or more..


but when ever she opens folders in her my documents folder this pop up comes up



and when we click no it just goes away

but when we click yes it trys to download a file



but its more annoying than anything..

we have ran avg and it picks up nothing..

we have zone alarm pro it picks up nothing..

tryed to reinstall windows it didn't help

if anybody know what this is and can help me get rid of it with out a reformat i would be very thankful. (i just reformatted her comp like 2 months ago don't want to have to do it again.)

4. Provide us logs from HijackThis & AntiVirus Online Scan

I would run malaware bytes anti malaware and download the actual windows defender from the windows website not some link from a popup.  A good combination for cleaning even the most infected computers would be spybpt, Superantispyware, malawarebytes and adaware.  I have found restarting in safemode also helps when scanning.

I don't know if it's the same issue, today I had to deal with pcdefender2009.
Wasn't so difficult, stopped process, found file, delete it.
The file was on the application data folder in the user's folder (XP)
It didn't make big changes on the system.
Again i don't know if it's the same as windefender.
Just my 2 cents.
