Hi,

I have installed something called "McAfee Virtual Technician". It has scanned my system and decided that I need to upgrade the "Common Management Agent" to version 3.6.0 Patch 4 (https://kc.mcafee.com/corporate/index?page=content&id=KB53496).

Any idea where this can be downloaded from?

Thanks thumbsup

Hi Samker,

Thank you for your quick reply. I found the previous patch (Patch 3 HotFix 10 for Common Management Agent version 3.6.0) on the NAI download site http://www.mcafee.com/apps/downloads/security_updates/hotfixes.asp?region=us&segment=enterprise, but not the latest one.

The same download is also available on the Secunia site http://secunia.com/advisories/29637

Maybe it is just a matter of time until the latest patch is published. (It is already available on the official McAfee download site, but not publicly.)

P.S. I just download the patch from the location above, but it's just a ZIP file (CMA3603HF10.ZIP), with several dozen files in it, but no installer, no target folder names, and no installation instructions.

I wouldn't know what to do with it. I am not going to manually replace the files in C:\Program Files\Network Associates\Common Framework ... thumbsdown

I had that "ePolicy Orchestrator" installed some (long) time ago, but it was very complicated to use, so I uninstalled it. I don't think I am going to try this again...
