Have you ever considered what makes an anti-malware application effective? We at Malwarebytes have created an easy-to-use, simple, and effective anti-malware application. Whether you know it or not your computer is always at risk of becoming infected with viruses, worms, trojans, rootkits, dialers, spyware, and malware that are constantly evolving and becoming harder to detect and remove. Only the most sophisticated anti-malware techniques can detect and remove these malicious programs from your computer.

Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is considered to be the next step in the detection and removal of malware. In our product we have compiled a number of new technologies that are designed to quickly detect, destroy, and prevent malware. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware can detect and remove malware that even the most well known anti-virus and anti-malware applications fail to detect. Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware monitors every process and stops malicious processes before they even start. The Realtime Protection Module uses our advanced heuristic scanning technology which monitors your system to keep it safe and secure. In addition, we have implemented a threats center which will allow you to keep up to date with the latest malware threats.

Activating the full version unlocks realtime protection, scheduled scanning, and scheduled updating.

Key Features

    * Light speed quick scanning.
    * Ability to perform full scans for all drives.
    * Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Protection Module. (requires registration)
    * Database updates released daily.
    * Quarantine to hold threats and restore them at your convenience.
    * Ignore list for both the scanner and Protection Module.
    * Settings to enhance your Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware performance.
    * A small list of extra utilities to help remove malware manually.
    * Multi-lingual support.
    * Works together with other anti-malware utilities.
    * Command line support for quick scanning.
    * Context menu integration to scan files on demand.

Thank you for the suggestion. Do you have the free or the paid version? And is this offer for the retail version?

Personally I use FREE version and in combination with other AntiSpywares it work perfect.

Excellent App.  thumbsup

This program has been great at removing things once a computer has been infected.  I install it on all of the PCs I work on.

So far I haven't ran into anything that it hasn't detected and successfully removed.

I use the free version to do manual scans.

Helped with a very bad infection and have kept it as part of my tools since. Was the only software that could remove the particular infection at the time...

Make it a habit to ensure that all of my relatives use this aswell. Never had any complaints and has helped to ensure that their computers stay clean aswell...

One of our employees got something on their laptop that prevented it from running or updating.  The exe wouldn't load at all.

There's a trick around this though, and it worked great.  Go into the program folder and rename the exe to something else.  Then you'll be able to run it without a problem.  I believe there's a different exe for the updates, so you can rename that one too if you need to update it.

If it won't install, rename mbam-setup.exe to something else.

I was surprised when it worked, but it worked like a charm!
