And I have a question. Why when I have installed VirusScan E 8.5i on a ASUS portatil with Windows Vista and I want to see/read something in the HDD or Memory Stick, the system get collapsed showing a blue screen and rebooting the system.

"Unfortunately, you've given us very little information to go on.. Which operating system? How much RAM is installed on the computer? Did you first uninstall all previous antivirus programs including previous version of VirusScan before installing the new one or you maybe install/reinstall some McAfee BETA products? Did you see any specific error messages? What EXACTLY do they say?

Was the computer scanned for malware BEFORE attempting to install McAfee? In other words, could it be infected?

Tried uninstalling McAfee from Safe Mode? If it won't uninstall from Safe Mode, you may need to manually remove it using the instructions in the link below:
