Vista Anti-Piracy Tool To Be Removed

Microsoft have announced that the anti-piracy feature that's used in Windows Vista is to be removed. The feature which has been designed to prevent users using 'pirated' versions of windows vista by 'locking' the use, is to be removed in the first service pack for Windows Vista which is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2008.
This decision has been made by Microsoft after a mass complaint from many vista users, who's genuine copies were wrongly detected by the tool. Users who now buy an OEM version of windows vista will have to activate it using the 'genuine validation tool' on the Microsoft unlike the previous tool; the new tool is similar to that used with Windows XP.
