After updating the log shows this message:

Er zijn geen updates toegepast omdat de pakketten zich niet bevinden in de opslagplaats:  VSCANCEU1000, EXTRADAT1000, BOCVSE__1000.

Translated:
Updates were not applied because packages were not in the repository: VSCANCEU1000, EXTRADAT1000, BOCVSE__1000.

Does this mean the update has failed?

Thanks for your reply Amker. The program you mentioned doesn't seem to work, however I've read on other sites that McAfee is still updating even if you get this error message.

So, I think the problem is solved.

is that happened all the time or only time-to-time??

Because if you have problem periodically, maybe your McAfee work in the background for example: Scheduled Update or Scanning??

Here is also one "old" but related topic: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,2476.0.html

I believe there is a McAfee KB article about this.  I'm also seeing this same message, and according to people in the McAfee support forums its nothing to worry about.  Your DAT files are still getting updated.  One is that there is no extra.dat, one is for a future feature, and I don't remember what the other is, but you can go to their KB and search for one of those and the article will come up.
