McAfee Common Management Agent (CMA) v3.6.0 Patch 4

Stand alone agent that will upgrade existing agent and retain sitelist.xml

I placed the .exe in a zipfile since the installer was named 'FramePkg_UPD.exe'.

I have downloaded and extracted the file, then ran 'FramePkg_UPD.exe'.  It ran successfully, updated something, but at the end I have no idea what it actually updated.

Does anybody know what fileversion CMA 3.6.0 P4 should be? All my CMA files have version 3.6.0.608, dated 2008-07-17.

Does anybody know what fileversion CMA 3.6.0 P4 should be? All my CMA files have version 3.6.0.608, dated 2008-07-17.

Not sure on 3.6.0 P4.  I removed 3.6.0 and upgraded to 4.0.0; since that version corrected all of those cosmetic error messages displayed on AutoUpdate.  Also McAfee is saying 3.6.0 is EOL this December and will no longer be supported.

I can load the patch up on my VM and see what file versions I get.

Install the “McAfee Agent” (MA) on the systems you intend to manage with ePolicy Orchestrator versions 4.0 or 4.5. McAfee Agent improves performance of policy enforcement, implements cross-platform process-to-process communication, and supports the new features of ePolicy Orchestrator 4.5.

General New Features:

- The policy information for Repositories and Proxy policy has been given a new category, separate from the General policy category.

- A new policy category has been created that allows you to specify the language used by the agents on the client system.

- Non-Windows agents can now use the cmdagent, previously only available in Windows.

- A large number of performance improvements included in MA 4.6.

- Additional cluster properties.

- You can now install the agent via GPO.

- Additional OS support.
