The Best Solutions Are The Simplest

I inherited this notebook which has McAfee anti-virus.  I uninstalled two of the three programs using add remove from Control Panel.  BUT, when it comes to uninstalling the DPL Agent I am greeted with "Use the following challenge key to generate the uninstall."  No clue how to answer the challenge and I cannot remove the agent without it.  Is there a work around?  I could really use the 67 Megabytes this is taking up.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. It's a personal notebook and I do not need this level of protection.

Hi micahnc, I think that you have same problem like "itzikh" here: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,4071.0.html ... We're waiting for SCF Member "hazedaze" to provide explanation for uninstallation process

My advice for you is to subscribe to mentioned Topic via "Notify" option.  Wink

Hi samker,
Thanks for the quick response.  Will wait to hear back from original threads.  Have a great Friday (or whatever day it is in your part of the world).
