...you should have the latest patch which is patch 8.. before to install the hotfix.. am i right?.. hehe

This hotfix is already included in latest patch for 8.5i, anyway, since EOL for this version is scheduled this year we do not give patches nor hotfixes anymore for 8.5
We herevy encourage our users to move to 8.7i or 8.8i, due to them being actual supported versions of VSE.
