I have McAfee VSE 8.7i. I have not installed any patch. But my Windows 7 OS gives a message saying "Antivirus s/w program is on but is reporting its status to Windows Security Center in a format that is not longer supported". Why am I getting this message?

I'm 99% sure that you need to apply Patch to VSE.

After installing the Patch 3 I am not getting the message. It now says "McAfee VSE software that is up to date and the Virus scanning is on". Thanks for the solution and password for the zip.
