I have a virus on my computer which does not lets me go online,run cd's/dvd's or recognise usb drives.
It says system infected virus removal in progress don't shut down?Huh?
What should i do????it doesn't even lets me get in safe mode as well.I have tried resetting ie as well but still it says cannot display the web page.
Help needed guys...

Please give us a bit of information about your system, to say:
OS, Ram, processor, Hard Disk capacity, partitions, drives, and everything you think may be of importance.
Oh! Also do mention your AV, firewalls and such.

Very hard infection, probably some Rogue AV. How and when this problem occur??

ASAP, provide us information which "jheysen" request, including installed AntiSpyware(s)??

Additionally, did you try to use "System Restore" option??

Try to download combofix from this link:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/anti-virus/combofix

After that you must disable your antivirus and disconnect computer from internet.
Run combofix and scan your computer.

When your computer is scanned and restarted with combofix, you must check virus definition for your antivirus and also download Malwarebytes from this link: http://www.malwarebytes.org/

Enable your antivirus and update virus definition.
Scan your computer with malwarebytes and clean everything that malwarebytes found.

Thats it.

First he has to repair his OS then try to download and install combofix..
May be his OS is totally corrupted

I think your operating system is corrupted you can download combo-fix and install in your system. If the problem still remain in your system then format your windows by taking the backup of your important data.
