Our links to FREE Online Anti-Malware Scanners are a great way to find out if you have any MalWare (viruses, trojans, worms, spyware ...) on your machine without having to uninstall your current antivirus software or install a new one. You just need to be online and using Internet Explorer.

1. Kaspersky Online Virus Scanner: Under Constructions! Use some other AV Scanner (below).

2. Bitdefender Online: http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html

3. Panda ActiveScan: http://www.pandasecurity.com/activescan/index/

4. McAfee FreeScan: http://home.mcafee.com/Downloads/FreeScan.aspx

5. Symantec Security Scan: http://security.symantec.com/

6. Microsoft Safety Scanner: http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

7. ESET Online Scanner: http://www.eset.com/home/products/online-scanner/

These FREE Online Anti-Malware Scanners are very powerful and scans your machine very deeply, so it could take hours to complete. We suggest running it during a time of low activity.

In case that one of provided scanners find some infections at your PC:

1. Make double check with at least one more scanner

2. Start your own topic (here at SCF "PC Help Center") with included:

- HJT log (download "HijackThis")

- Anti-Malware Scanners logs

- Description (History) of your problem with PC

OR consider to pay small fee for quick help via SCF "Remote PC Assist".

Do the scanners on the list enable removal of the detected threats or do we have alternate options? Thanks.

As I know (for most of them), it's not. Since they are running from outside of your PC.
