Today I want to share free applications to Isolate & Test Unsafe Applications On Your PC and  that creates a separate environment allowing you unlimited freedom to enjoy all Internet activities without the fear of external threats .

1)Sandboxie:-
Sandboxie runs your programs in an isolated space which prevents them from making permanent changes to other programs and data in your computer. Its Features:-
a)Secure Web Browsing: Running your Web browser under the protection of Sandboxie means that all malicious software downloaded by the browser is trapped in the sandbox and can be discarded trivially.
b)Enhanced Privacy: Browsing history, cookies, and cached temporary files collected while Web browsing stay in the sandbox and don't leak into Windows.
c)Secure E-mail: Viruses and other malicious software that might be hiding in your email can't break out of the sandbox and can't infect your real system.
d)Windows Stays Lean: Prevent wear-and-tear in Windows by installing software into an isolated sandbox.

More more Details about it and to download Please Visit

2)GESWALL FREEWARE:

GeSWall is intrusion prevention system that is non-intrusive and easy to use. With GeSWall, you can safely surf the web, use e-mail, chat, exchange files etc, regardless of the security threats posed by the Internet. GeSWall is a required supplementary to your anti-virus, anti-spyware and personal firewall as it blocks unknown threats missed by those solutions.

Anti-virus, anti-spyware and personal firewall are particularly good to find and remove known viruses, trojuns and spy-ware. However they fail in front of unknown mal-ware, targeted intrusions and zero-day attacks. GeSWall prevents unknown or missed threats while anti-virus would detect and remove particular mal-ware traces when it is aware of them.

4)Returnil System Safe:-

Returnil System Safe is built with the end-user in mind. It shouldn't be stressful to surf the internet or to download a program you really would like to try out. It uses a combination of antivirus, antimalware, system restore and a virtual system to protect your computer from all types of viruses and other malicious threats.

Returnil System Safe 2011 uses an advanced anti-malware and virtualization technology. It clones (copies) your operating system and creates a virtual environment for your PC. Instead of loading the native operating system, a clone is loaded that allows you to run your applications and perform your online activities in an entirely isolated environment. In this manner, your actual operating system is never affected by viruses, Trojans, malware and other malicious threats. To return to the actual operating system environment, you just need to restart your PC. While working in the virtual environment, you have the option of saving documents and files so that your data will not be lost when the system is restarted.

See "About VirtualBox" for an introduction.

I think Sandboxie is very popular as i have read about it on various forums and it is very simple.I personally use Bufferzone as it has more features than another but it is only good for surfing or for opening unknown file or e-mail attachments. But for testing different software's, i use Returnil as it removes everything on protected partition after reboot. I use virtualbox to test Different OS. it is difficult to use because  we need to first install OS in virtual machine and then we can test different software's in it so most users did not need it.On the other hand if we want to Test software on OS other then OS which is installed on our machine,it is best. Also it is good to test software's which require system reboot.Other free software's similar to virtual box is Virtual PC (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=4580) and VMware Player (http://www.vmware.com/products/player/).
