Samker suggested we take a look at this post. We should be able to effectively detect and remove Personal Guard 2009 and get you back up and running again. I realize that it can be frustrating to try multiple tools and strategies to remove an infection, but some of the newest infections are especially tough to remove. However, I do believe we can help.

Download SUPERAntiSpyware Free Edition version 4.29 from www.superantispyware.com. (If you are already running SUPERAntiSpyware, make sure to update to the latest version and/or spyware definitions prior to scanning as definitions are updated many times per day.)

After downloading, double click the SUPERAntiSpyware.exe file to begin installation. If you have problems downloading or installing, please follow these instructions:
http://www.superantispyware.com/supportfaqdisplay.html?faq=71

Select “Scan Your Computer” from the main screen.

Select “Perform Complete Scan.”

Follow the prompts to quarantine/remove the infected files.

In many cases, it will be necessary to reboot following the scan. You should run another complete scan to ensure a clean system as many infections try to install new components during system shutdown and reboot.

I'll keep an eye on this post to see if you're still having difficutly. And thank you to the SCF moderators for giving us this opportunity to assist.

It says 4 infected files now, but you still have traces of this rogue AV "Personal Guard 2009"... /-:

Did you turn off "System Restore"??

If not turn of them off and run again Malwarebytes (before that Update them to latest DAT version).

Also please download, update and run Windows Defender: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,1737.0.html

After that we again need HJT and Kaspersky logs.

As I think...

MalwareBytes detect this Rogue AV but you don't clean them.

When MB finish scanning it display all malware that program found (will be shown as seen in the image below).
Please note that the infections found may be different than what is shown in the image.

You should now click on the Remove Selected button to remove all the listed malware. MBAM will now delete all of the files and registry keys and add them to the programs quarantine. When removing the files, MBAM may require a reboot in order to remove some of them. If it displays a message stating that it needs to reboot, please allow it to do so. Once your computer has rebooted, and you are logged in, please continue with the rest of the steps.

When MBAM has finished removing the malware, it will open the scan log and display it in Notepad. Review the log as desired, and then close the Notepad window.

Please try again and give us new logs.

Ok, Kevin.

I also need information did you finish scanning with Malwarbyte and your AntiVirus? Did they find and fix anything??

I'm asking this because you're "infected" with rogue AntiVirus/Antispyware called "Personal Guard 2009" and Malwarebytes remove them in 99% of cases.

If you don't finish this scanning complete them... and provide us new logs including one from Malwarbytes.

Regards,

S.
