I am wanting to do an upgrade and I was wondering what might give the best performance increase, I am currently running a GeForce 8600GT (128bit, 512mb) should I get another 8600 and run SLI? or should I just choose a single Geforce 9 Series Card?

Decided to go with the gigabyte 9600GT, but i have been reading around on evga's website and have seen the brand new GTX295 and DAMN it looks good, it would run perfectly with a new i7 3.2GHZ and the new x58 chipset

Just make sure your power supply is up the the challenge I have found most "SLI" power supplies are not truly up to the challenge of dual cards and a high power processor.  Stay away from flashy cheap supplies such as the xion supernova.  Check www.newegg.com for reviews.  Personally I love the Corsair HX1000W for high power applications and the modular aspect is also great.  Other sites for good power supply info are
