I went back and ran as adinistrator hjt. I deleted the entries I thought I could do without. I elected to keep the extra anti-virus though. They are not in my start-up and do nothing unless I key them up. I rechecked my start-up menu and everything is fine there-only essentials. I consider this issue closed. I just checked the active processes after restart. Those entries are back. I am going to use the tools option in spybot to kill those unwanted processes. I am hesitant to uninstall them as I do use them for scans when I think something is wrong because I have found what spybot or norton may miss, sometimes one of the others might catch. It happens all the time and they are useful. I just don't want them actually running unless I key them up. Before I have always used spybot to keep them asleep which has an excellent start-up program kill tool. I will do so again.

I did as you asked. Below is the new log. It DID help. My system idle went from 24 to 10-14. That is a big difference in performance. I don't think I missed anything.

I cannot delete it through hjt as the program says I don't have write privledges even though I run it as administrator. Any ideas on how to get rid of it?
We will try to clean that also.
First, take a look at Control Panel (Add-Remove Programs) and try to find some Net Zero Services. If you find something uninstall is our option.

I have done as you asked. I diabled all but norton and spybot(this is what I normally do. I had just forgotten to do it before the first hjt log). Everything seems fine. No problems at all.

Yes I know I have alot of anti-spy and virus. And yes I know they would ordinarily slow my system. I usually keep only Norton and spybot actually running. The others I use only for scanning and then I disable them again-what norton or spybot might miss, another might pick up. I keep them around for when I think I may be infected. Were there other issues?

Don't worry R. your PC is clean but I find some "space" for improving your PC performance. At my opinion you only need AVG AntiVirus (what's happened with Norton anyway?) and Spybot real-time protection. I need your opinion so I can turn of other programs from AutoStart ?!
