once the computer is attacked by Virus/Malware/Spyware or some other kind, its probable that even though parent infector is removed there are scraps left over which will create further hidden problems, therefore it's my suggestion that always use a substitute anti-spyware/malware etc. occationally and uninstall whenever not required.

i used to have ad-aware but.. i dunno it kinda changed from the good old times lol, seemed to not catch/find anything anymore .. but other progs such as superantispyware and malwarebytes found stuff... =/.. dunno mayb it got better now? been a while of this.. mayb like about a yr
