Thanks for posting this interesting news. FBI got a point there so Google and Apple should think about it more than twice. There's a terrorist group out there who are planning to ruin and kill people just for them to terrorize the world. If the encryption might help them, then it should not be allowed.

I agree with you about terrorist but what is with 99,99% other honest people and theirs privacy?

I do not believe government agencies, and I fear with that they might abuse the information they capture.

The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation is concerned about moves by Apple and Google to include encryption on smartphones, the agency’s director said Thursday.

Quick law enforcement access to the contents of smartphones could save lives in some kidnapping and terrorism cases, FBI Director James Comey said in a briefing with some reporters. An FBI spokesman confirmed the general direction of Comey’s remarks. The FBI has contacted Apple and Google about their encryption plans, Comey told a group of reporters who regularly cover his agency.
