I noticed that occasionally can cause problems when used foolishly, especially if there are Windows update in place or you have installed anything without rebooting. Caution.

I've ran into a few issues before too with the registry cleaner, computer didn't boot after..  :-\   So I've resorted to manually cleaning what's needed for the issue at hand for peace of mind.  But years ago when I was using regularly, was pretty good.
