Hi @Samker,

I would suggest godaddy.com to book a domain and bluehost for hosting.

Thanks for the information.

Cheers!!

If you want to start a blog you will need two things hosting and a domain name. While there are many hosting companies that provide hosting for a blog or website, they are some great companies that provide mainly domains and then also hosting as an additional service.

Below I will give you some popular services that provide domain names at an affordable price and regularly come out with deals and discount offers as well.

Godaddy.com

Godaddy is more popular for their super bowl ads in the US to the general public, but many people also do know that they are dealing in websites and domain names. Go daddy is one of the top domain name registrars in the world. They started out with domain names and now they provide everything to do with websites from domain names, hosting, ssl certificates and much more.

Namcheap.com

Name cheap is another big US domain provider that provides domain names for your new website or blog. As their names suggest they provide domain names cheap and are quite competitive in the domain selling market. They often come out with good deals for limited time periods.

Google domains

Google has recently entered the domain name market and they could possibly hold quite a share in the future if they go all out in this. It is yet to be seen if the competition and regulation body opposes this move though. As they already provide the biggest free blogger service, their domain name providing service ties in well.

Net Registry

Net registry has been in this niche for a long period and has been a big player in Australia. They do a lot of wholesales sales for website names   and also come out with discount deals for the Australian and world markets.

1& 1 domain

These guys are another cheap domain provider that comes out with deals via coupons codes or discounts from time to time were you get domains for as low from $1 to 3 per pop. They cater to all kinds of domain names and tlds.
Pricing for domains normally are anywhere from 0.99 to a $1 when they are current deals or discounts. Normal prices can be anywhere between $11 to $22 for a .com or other country tlds like .com.au.  Domain names are also available via auctions and reselling and most of these providers have some reseller programs or then you can promote them for a commission.

Good luck getting your new domain and starting your new website.
