FLASH PROBLEMS ?
« on: 17. May 2015., 18:51:05 »
Hello,

I Use 5 Browsers For Various Purposes, But I Still Use IE8 As One Of Them.

Why IE8 ?

Because, As Far As I Know, :

A - It Is The Fastest Browser For Streaming Video - Hands Down,

B - It Is The Best PopUp Killer - Even More Hands Down.

Credit Where Credit Is Due.

---

In The Last Few Days, I Was Forced To Move My Drives To Another Machine, And Reinstalled Loads Of Software.

Now, I Can Watch Streaming On CHROME Or FIREFOX, But IE8 Has A Problem.

There Is No Sound And No Image - Well, The Image Is, In Fact, Something Like Two PICASSO Pictures Taking Turns, In A Very Rapid Succession.

This Happened To Me In The Past, But I Do Not Remember How I Solved It, Then.

I Installed FLASH Version 17 OffLine And Rebooted, But The Problem Remains.

Any Clues Out There ?

Thank You.

Adobe has a separate Flash installer for every browser.. You also must be sure to install 32- and 64-bits versions

Unlike JAVA, I Have Never Realized FLASH Was Browser Specific.

Also, For Each Browser, There Are Different OnLine And OffLine Installation Flavors - When In Doubt, Go OffLine.

After Knowing All This, I Doubt I Will Be Caught With My Pants Down, Again, FLASHwise.

Thank You, All.

I Was So Desperate That I Installed SHOCKWAVE, Too.

Things Are Working, So, For Now, I Am Not Going To Mess With More ADOBE Installations And UnInstallations, Period.

PC KARMA Is A Cold Lady, And I Am Done Playing With Her.

Cheers.
