It's been a long while since we last heard about Nokia 8900. In the meantime, many speculations have been going around along with sketches of the design concept behind this handset. The first real leaked images of it
have just appeared, as proof that this is more than a mere concept, but a real mobile phone with chances  of
a release.

The evolution from sketches to images of a real phone follows the progress that Nokia must have made in developing this new device. The 8900 model has hit the final stages on its way to hit the market, as it is now looking to see a release. It might take a while until that happens, as the producer seems to be taking its time with unveiling the phone.

Nokia 8900 is supposed to become the new leading device for the 8xxx series, the best out there, as they are running out of numbers and will soon hit 9000. Just how many chances there are for this to happen is uncertain.

The phone looks good, although nothing astounding. In fact, the keypad has high chances of creating some problems for its user when trying to type. Other than that, it has the same sleek, but long design that previous phones in this line have brought. It might be just as heavy too, as there are high chances for it to also keep the strong titanium back that has been distinctive for this line of devices until now.

The great upgrade on Nokia 8900 is that it also includes 3G technology. There is also a secondary camera for placing video calls, which leaves hopes for HSDPA high data transfer speeds. The camera is also supposed to have received an upgrade to 3.2 megapixels, which will manage to provide captures of a higher quality.

The new leaked images of Nokia 8900 show that the handset has turned real and could very well see a release in the near future. No word from the producer on this possibility up to now.
