I can understand Adobe,Nero,& turbo tax. Maybe even Symantec ghost since they have been getting better. But why risk getting caught for programs that are pure crap such as MacAffee & the rest of the Norton garbage ware when there much better utilities to be had. Some of them are even freeware. Could it be because these programs spend more on advertising than on development? Most people have never even heard of the truly great programs because Microsoft and the other Booty Bandits go out of their way to promote software that is almost guaranteed to allow your computer to get slower and slower due to infections. {Most people don't update/upgrade their computer. They unnecessarily purchase a NEW ONE!!!} And PLEASE explain to me how or why internet security companies software is so easy to pirate. Especially since the program is constantly updating its Av definitions by internet. The better programs like Kapersky are virtually impossible to keep activated. Why? They know there are pirates out there.

The Software & Information Industry Association released its annual Anti-Piracy year in review this week, noting that it reached its largest piracy settlement yet in a case against Florida Benchmark – which was found using unlicensed software and ended up paying $150,000 – and its first settlement through its Corporate Content Anti-Piracy Program.

Among other things, the SIIA also made a list of the titles most pirated by companies and titles most pirated via the internet, much of which consisted of security tools from Symantec and productivity and design tools from Adobe – makes you wonder if Adobe’s high price points have anything to do with them being a prime piracy target.
