Today I’ve found that my phone has a virus, and it’s called System Health.
Having spent 3 hours, I’ve found this app - SMS Tracker by Gizmoquip LLC!

It has 5 000 000 installs, it’s free to download and it secretly spies on your SMS, calls, whatsapp, transmits GPS-coordinates and it can’t be detected or removed.
How is that possible?
I’ve looked into the Google Play Policy and found out that there is a strict policy that does not allow apps with viruses:
Apps that track user behavior may not hide, cloak or mislead device users as to this functionality.

However, this does not stop apps with viruses to be in Google Play and get up to 5 000 000 installs!
This is how it works – after you register in the app, you get access to downloading the virus on the website smstracker.com where it clearly says:
That means that Google Play offers an app that advertises the virus “System Health” and makes possible its install!
Moreover, Gizmoquip LLC copies the same virus and posts it several times, which is also a violation of the google policy, since publishers are not allowed to publish the same app several times in order to get more installs:
Do not post repetitive content.

But this does not affect the virus developer:
Do you like it? I don’t! Together we can remove the virus from Google Play!
Step 1: Type in the search field of your android phone “SMS Tracker”
Step 2: Choose the app SMS Tracker by Gizmoquip LLC
Step 3: Find Content Policy Complaint
Step 4: Inform them that this is a virus!
If there are lots of complaints, I hope Google Play won’t be able to ignore us!
