Set both on full, extensive scanning. Let them scan both BUT LET NOBODY CLEAN UNTIL THE OTHER FINISHED SCANNING TOO! THEN, start cleaning all found. If not, also do chkdsk c: /f /v /x /r from a command prompt (cmd.exe). Reboot and see if scanning starts. Wait a couple of hours, and watch for any errors!! @devnullius sir, I follwoed your instructions.Thanks. @ Smaker sir, I ran CCLeaner tool as you guided. But problem is still there.Actually I realized, this problem occurred when ESET Smart security get updated. Now today, after the updates I rechecked by right clciking and then PC hanged on cursor. So I think the problem is with Updates of Esest smart security. ( Sorry. I m replying late.Becoz I was busy with work and was not connected with internet) Posted by: devnullius« on: 09. cmd.exe sfc /scannow Also to try: reset perrmissions registry entries Do not use ccleaner, user cleanup! by steven gould - cleans better, safer AND mulitiple user accounts (!). Combofix also a good one, for it repairs faults caused by virus removals or other things No time, no pc - good luck ;p devnullius Posted by: Samker« on: 09. Please provide us information, when this problem occur ? Did you install or changed some settings recently, before that happen ? Maybe some other problems, when you use mouse? Also, please download and use CCleaner: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,1133.0.html (be careful, select everything except Desktop Shortcuts & Hotfix Uninstallers), after that fix registers, but don't forget to make a backup. Let us know, whether these tips resolve the problem ? cya later, S. Posted by: maanas« on: 09. July 2013., 07:40:32 »Thank you Smaker sir.
Before the Eset I was using AVG Internet security trial. Today I checked the windows security center. It was saying that there are more than two antivirus protection. So I immediately ran the AVG uninstall tool 2013 and after this now security center not showing that message of more than two antivirus protection..Now it is showing only Eset smart security. I think , may be problem was occured due this and may resolved. But not sure about it.
