A Versatile Video Player (PC/MAC) Recommendation

I tend to use VLC most of the time for video playback, but I’ve also tried a bunch of other players for comparison. Honestly, it comes down to how smooth they run and whether they handle all my file types without trouble. I often need to play and convert different formats, especially MOV and MP4, so having something that does more than just play videos is pretty useful to me. For converting stuff, I actually use https://www.movavi.com/video-converter/convert-mov-to-mp4.html since it supports so many formats and handles conversions really fast. Nice option if you need more than just a basic player.
