Yes, those Rootkits are extremely hard to remove. Even regular MalWare is hard to clean completely from a system.
I think Image Backups can provide one of the best ways to clean MalWare, especially for the RootKits.
Image backups are of the entire Hard Drive as it stands, and can be easily restored (boot and all) over existing drive.
So a rollback to before the MalWare (Rootkit) will preclude the problem.

I have learned great info from the replies in this thread. Now I understand more about the difference of these three. I was quite confused before too. I would love to know if there's a program that offers the tasks of these 2 programs, so we will not have to download each of them.
