As for the prices: I found a 1TB caviar Black Sata III at ~100.000 CLP, thats about 200 USD And a 7200.12 Seagate Barracuda 500Gb at ~69.000 CLP, about 138 USD So here its almost time for changing PCs, just the harddisks would have to wait... If Seagate haven't turned so bad after buying maxtor, this would fly... (but I'm too lazy to reinstall windows on the Black Caviar :p) (And here in Chile the HDDs have their prices still in the clouds, so buying a new BC is just not an option :/) Posted by: Samker« on: 03. If you just want to make an OMG MOSNTER PC you should think in: Intel Core i7 Extreme Motherboard that can support such a powerful processor 2x nvidia GTX590 at least 16GB DDR3-1600 for RAM 4x WD Velociraptor (try to buy them all from same capacity, as much as you can find), you put them in RAID. 1x BD burner For the case, you'll want something like a HAF-X or a tt V9.
