hi guys,

this is munna on this hell ... and at first we can give a big thanks to Mr. Samker for introducing us  "Server & Network Security Base" on scforum

Well, i'm MCP, MCSA on Windows Server 2000 and 2003 and MCTS on Windows Server 2008, have little knowledge on some other OS like Sun Solaris, Novell and Linux. the fun on the NOS(network Operating system) is it's platform independent and you can serve to any client whatever that is windows or linux or mac or bsd ...

by heart and soul i love Machine coz i wanted to set my soul on there coz they never betray and i can feel their heart-bit.

my only wanting is, we will share our thoughts, experience, and latest technology. of course we will try to solve errors too but all should be related servers.

have a nice day to you all and take care ...

I was born in San Jose, CA and I have done Masters in Marketing from University of Southern California. After completing study I moved to San Jose as I got my first job there. I am working in a company called SSLlogic which is an Authorized Comodo SSL Certificates Reseller company and are providing different certificates like EV SSL Certificate, Code Signing Certificate etc. It's really an interesting Job as I see SSL as a deeper subject to know about.

Starting to sound like Gargamel, but I HATE VMWare ;p So I pity your job and welcome you even more :)

Why I do not like VMWare? Well, either they are very good in crippling illegal versions OR (my guess) their software has been and will always be very buggy.

Still, when I had 8GB of RAM recently I started to use it - if only to clean up all that old iron suffocating up my home ;p

Examples of problems I've seen?
Guest 1, Windows 7: task manager won't show CPU graphs in task manager
Guest 1, Windows 7: network icon says there is a problem, still there is internet. Fixed by repair setup VMWare
Guest 2, Mac OS X: no way to install client tools. Without it, Safari new tab will halt the guest. The fancy new tab display Safari uses really needs proper video support. A friend of mine sent me some tools - still didn't feel like testing it
In general: although promised many times... Sharing (drag drop! copy paste!) between host and guest...? Still haven't seen it working!

But yeah, in the end, it more or less all is still working and I admit, it gives some great and quick testing possibilities... And I use VMWare not in a stable way on server hardware with no software interrupting or being "different" (connecting one of my VPN softwares on Guest 1 will blue screen my windows 8 ent. x64 client...).

So welcome my son :) And if you have some quick tips how to gain some hard drive space back... Please inform in a new topic; for sharing (and immediately unsharing) my Ubuntu guest added another 150GB of disk space usage :|

Half karma for VMWare... And peace!

Devvie
