Error 1334 when installing VSE P3
« on: 17. May 2013., 00:49:22 »
Hi,

I hope I posted this in the correct area..

while installing P3 for VSE 8.8 I encounter this error message  :(:

Error 1334.The file ''traceapp.dll2'' cannot be installed because the file cannot be found in cabinet file ''Data1.cab''. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM, or a problem with this package

Has anyone encountered this issue before?  If so, what solution did you use to solve this?

UPDATE:

I just did a fresh install... and that seemed to do the trick.  For me anyways,

Yes I have seen this problem also when you try to update a VSE p1 to p2 also. Their seams to bee something their have missed in the update. Have any other peoples have same problem when updating patches for McAfee Virus Scan Enterprise?

I did the same work around with uninstalling an reinstalling to get in the higher patch. It worked fine but it would have been better to just update a patch.
Their is two easy way to configure a system!
Every thing open and every thing closed.
Every thing else is more or less complex.
