iPhone Fingerprint Sensor hacked by German Hackers group “CCC”

After the launch of Apple’s iPhone 5s that is almost hitting up the streets— The German Hackers Group (Chaos Computer Club) claims to have hacked its Fingerprint sensor (Touch ID).

According to a blog post by the group—they have successfully bypassed the biometric security of Apple’s TouchID using ‘easy everyday means: http://www.ccc.de/en/updates/2013/ccc-breaks-apple-touchid

Chaos Computer Club successfully defeated the TouchID by photographing an iPhone user’s fingerprint from a glass surface and using that captured image to verify the user’s login credentials.

Group also demonstrated the process through a video:

Group writes in a blog post:

"In reality, Apple's sensor has just a higher resolution compared to the sensors so far. So we only needed to ramp up the resolution of our fake", said the hacker with the nickname Starbug, who performed the critical experiments that led to the successful circumvention of the fingerprint locking. "As we have said now for more than years, fingerprints should not be used to secure anything. You leave them everywhere, and it is far too easy to make fake fingers out of lifted prints."

Frank Rieger, spokesperson of the CCC said:

"We hope that this finally puts to rest the illusions people have about fingerprint biometrics. It is plain stupid to use something that you can´t change and that you leave everywhere every day as a security token"

It is not yet cleared about the bounty, which is being offered to the first one—who successfully hack the fingerprint sensor, and the website which actually started for the bounty— has announced through their website (IsTouchIDhackedyet.com) “They are waiting for CCC to upload video of the process before them the winner.”

Along with the bounty, the winner of fingerprint sensor will get a free application from CipherLaw to patent the hack; several bottles of alcohol including Laphroaig, Maker’s Mark, Argentine wine, Patron Silver, and Bulleit bourbon; a “dirty sex book,” and an iPhone 5C.

The worse is a combination, and not to believe it's true.

Just to paint up a bad picture what can be possible is:
Some one that steel a phone that is registered at NSA with some ones fingerprint and they use the phone to illegal or terrorist activity.
Then the owner can be branded as for some illegal activity that he is unknown and totally innocent of whit out a way to get clean of it from NSA. It puts the legal certainty at stake.
