Did you try to put an exclusion for your donwload folder?
That way you can discard the AV.

Hi Nikhil.

I think that you speak about "Internet Download Manager": http://www.internetdownloadmanager.com/features.html ??

In my experience, that is The Best and The Fastest Download Manager!  :thumbsup:

Now, few words about your problem... ;)

My first suggestion is to you check Settings in IDM's "Downloads tab":

- Check "Ignore file modification time changes when resuming a download" box (is it now, on or off?)

- Check Virus Scanner Program & Command line parameters (is there anything, if yes - for which antivirus?)

Feel free to experiment with different settings in these boxes, for example I'll first try to turn on "Ignore file..." & to delete all settings in "Check virus scanner & command line..."...

Let us know did this suggestions help you??

Regards,

S.

hmmm, let's try on this way:

1. close all the browsers
2. close all applications
3. Completely Re-install IDM (use latest version)

Provide us info, is this help you?

@k_SSS

Naah its not the problem of Bitdefender as I am using it myself too could be coz of you are using any patch to activate IDM(as m using a genuine key so not facing issue) or might be when you first launched idm after installing Bitdefender that it asked for the net permission and by mistake you blocked it but in that case the file wouldnt have dowlded even a bit but still check the firewall exception rules

And I am surprised you were using net protector even we keep on posting so many av promos here use something better to avoid future problems

@Samker sir
I have done these steps also but failed.

@Neeraj sir

Yes I am using cracked IDM.but before this it not gave any problem.because from the last 2 and half  years,I am using that cracked IDM.And previous two AV (namely one was kaspersky Internet security before two year and last year Net protector.I had not used both simultaneously)not gave me this type of problem.Now I have taken a test of bitdefener.Mins yesterday i have replced BD by the trial version of Kaspersky then IDM not stopped at middle mins It not gave above mentioned problem.Now today I have Uninstalled kapesrsky and installed Bitdefender  again then problem starts as mentioned above.
So what is the solution?
(Actualy I had the gift of that Net protector AV from one of my friend last year,thats why i was using there .Now its subsrciption  is over  before one month. so now i am not using that AV)

Very strange problem...  ???

I'll send mail to (our friend) Mrs Raluca from BitDefender company related to this problem... hope She will reply ASAP.

P.S.

Of course, I must to say, that SCF don't support using any kind of cracks, serials etc.

Instead of that my suggestion is to try/use this add-on for Firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/downthemall/

Check and fix the firewall exception that I wrote above as well yup kaspersky doesnt block cracks and patches untill there is a virus but bitdefender does saying trojan dropper and net protector is really not a protector
