Hello,
Imagine This Scenario:
A - Late Into The Night, You Are Watching TV On Your PC, The Sound Is High Enough For You To Hear, But Low Enough To Not Annoy Anyone Else,
B - Suddenly, The Broadcast Is Interrupted With Commercials And The Majority Of mfs That Manage The Commercial Breaks Always Want Everybody To Wake Up Sending Then A Much Higher Audio Volume Than The Normal Programming.
Question:
Does Anyone Know Of Any Program, Or Extension For CHROME Or FF, That Can Manage Audio, So That No Sound Whatsoever Is Sent Into The Output Jacks Exceeding A PreConfigured Decibel Maximum ?
Thank You.
-
Did you try enabling volume normalization on your drivers?
-
As I Understand, You Do Not Know A General Way Of Controlling This Problem Unless You Configure The Software That Comes With Your Audio Card ?
Thank You.

I believe that some of these Apps will be helpful: ;)
- Volume Limiter: http://www.digital-digest.com/software/Volume_Limiter_Compressor.html
- Sound Lock: http://www.3appes.com/sound-lock/
- MP3Gain: http://mp3gain.sourceforge.net/
Enjoy!
