hi Andrew
I am just a newbie, but I have seen something like this before. Can you remember the name of the fake security program. Was it Virus Protect Pro? I had a similar issue and I resolved it, but knowing with what you are dealing is important. If you can remember the name it may help.
There is a fake program out there that will pose as a legit security application warning you that your system is infected. It advises you to click on their icon to fix the problem and it IS very convincing. I did it not too long ago. It wiped out my Norton and Internet Explorer. If you rembember the name, chances are someone else has encountered it too and a search on that name may show basis for fixing.
Sorry Samker if I intruded.
Regards
Robert

Hi Andrew,

first I need to know is it possible for you to run PC (Windows)?

We really need that!

After that please follow this instructions so we can clean your PC in a short time:

1. Provide us all possible details related to yours problems / infection.

2. Run Kaspersky Online AntiVirus Scan: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,734.0.html

3. Download & run HijackThis: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,785.0.html

4. Provide us logs from HijackThis & Kaspersky Online Scan

We will wait your reply (with logs).

Regards,

Samker

My dad's pc got a horrible virus today, and I have no idea how to get rid of it. I will try starting the pc in safe mode, etc. Here are pics of it.

I am glad my dad understood what was wrong. I got rid of the first screen, which was a fake (and very convicing for my parents) security center screen, saying his license had "exprited". Please help.
