You have to ensure whether the Secure Boot option is enabled or not.
Disable Secure Boot and then restart the device.
Then press "Escape".
Then press "F9".
Select the boot device, that is, the USB in this case.
And Boot from it.

In BIOS, disable protection and enable the old legacy mode. On YouTube many videos on this topic.
