You are right but Avast is also not a good anti-virus system because it eliminates some useful supported applications also which is needed to open other software. That's why I trusted in windows inner built anti-software system. For online platform I prefer Avira which was protected my PC.
Reasons to choose AVIRA from long time. It is preferable for me because of it's service about anti-spam system and other online services.

Till today, I was depending on MSE for antivirus protection. I an not so sure that it does a great job  :-\
It seems that I had recently been infected by a virus, resulting to lose all msoffice extension files and compressed ones!! on main HDD, as well as the attached external HDD's ... "ad-hoc"
As from now, I'm giving a try to Panda Cloud Antivirus Free. I'll test it and let you know about

I keep testing ...

I have installed it and am testing it on my son's PC.  We'll see how it goes.  Everything is tending to be "cloud" based now and it will probably trend to other AV manufacturers as well

Hi Delsol and Welcome to SCF Community.

Panda Cloud Pro support 64-bit technology: https://shop.pandasecurity.com/cgi-bin/pp?twds=cloud&ID=A12CAESD1&track=102322&ml=EN but I can't find info for Free version  ??? I suppose that it same situation like with Pro.  ;)
