It can be problem of computer graphics card or screen resolution you have set, it is not appropriate resolution for that monitor ...

The Monitor Was Always Usable Even With The Problem.

I Swapped The Extremities Of The VGA Cable And The Problem Disappeared, Months Ago - The Extremity Now On The Computer VGA Port Apparently Has Some Bad Connection But No Problems Since The Swap.

Repairing A Cheap Monitor Costs About The Same As Buying A New One - Easy Decision.

This Is A 3 Years Old LED SAMSUNG SyncMaster S22B150 - It Can Not Be Sold As Brand New Because It Has An Almost Invisible Small **Square** 1mm White Ghost On The Bottom Right - I Wish All My Past Monitors Were This Good.

Thank You.

If the cable thing doesnt work it might be the monitor. You can only be sure if you install a new monitor (borrow one from a friend of yours). If it is the monitor there are many causes for this.. ( i do not know if it better to service it or buy another one). If it is an LCD monitor keep in mind that they have a life of about 3 years of use.

Wishful Thinking - I Spoke Too Soon.

Recurring Problem ?

The Ghosts Came Back After I Powered Off The Monitor For A While.

I Am Not Going To Replace Any Hardware, For Now.

---

( Update )

I Tighten The VGA Cable End On The Monitor, And Everything Looks OK, Again.

Lets See If It Sticks, This Time Around.

Thank You.

I Changed Some Settings Including The ClearType, And Put Everything Back As It Was - I Think.

It Worked, Even The Small Shadows Have Disappeared - I Hope.

It Looks Brand New, Now.

Thank You Very Much.

I would begin by trying another monitor.
Did you try with Cleartype configuration wizard?

Hello,

Over Time, My Screen Developed Small Shadows On The Right When The Font Is Really Big And Dark Against A Light Background.

The Problem Got Worse Now, More Fonts Developed Shadows.

I Reinstalled The Monitor And Video Drivers From The Manufacturers Sites.

I Shut Down The PC Several Times.

I Restarted It Even More Times.

No Success.

---

By No Means It Is Impossible To Work, But It Is Annoying.

If The Problem Worsens, I Might Be Forced To Replace And / Or Change The Monitor And / Or Video Card.

Any Such Experience Out There ?

Thank You.
