You don't need to give out the mail address you use to log-in to facebook, that just compromises your security and calls spammers..

Random blue screen error after installing VSE 8.7 Patch 5
Some McAfee customers experience a blue screen error after installing VirusScan Enterprise (VSE) 8.7 Patch 5.
This error occurs randomly after the patch is installed. Tests have shown that the error occurs more often on servers that have heavy traffic or system resource utilization. Workstations that have a lighter load are less likely to encounter the conditions that trigger this error.
NOTE: At this time the issue has only been reported on servers, but it is possible that it could also occur on workstations. Environments where processes and objects are dynamic are at higher risk to encounter this issue.

We are no longer distributing that password since the latest patch for 8.7i is P5. However, we encourage our users to move to VSE 8.8i P1 in order to have up-to-date protection for their machines.

Moreover I am not able to understand that how much more things, will I have to install other than patch 5, for you have given links for two more things. The patch is of 8 MB, the other thing i.e VSE880P1 .rar is of 5.4 MB and another thing i.e VSE87HF643440 .rar is of 3.5 MB. kindly advise and send the password. SIR, IN ONE OF THE FORUMS I READ THAT FOR INSTALLING OTHER PATCHES OF 8.7i, THE PATCH 2 MUST BE INSTALLED FIRST. IN THAT CASE KINDLY SEND THE PASSWORD FOR PATCH 2 AS WELL.

THe file I downloaded, the file name is VSE87iP5.
Shouldn't it be VSE870LMLRP5.zip for Patch 5 repost version? Do I have an earlier version which requires Hotfix 643440?

We Distribute patch-only files, not the full software.
Also, it get's renamed since we repackage it for setting the password :p

SCforum is voluntarily based community so there is no need for such words... :( All of us here have other responsibilities in RL, so We are not online all the time.
I (We) especially do not like people who appear out of nowhere with a problem ... and disappear after the problem is resolved. :thumbsdown:
We do appreciate the work and help in the SCF community. It'll be better, while you "waited", that you were took part in the forum's life... but even now it's not too late. ;)
