Hello to everyone,

I'm trying to boot my system using USB on HP Data Vault?. I'm trying to install ubuntu but it's not working.

First thing would be to check if you can select boot device on BIOS/UEFI and check wheter Safe Boot is enabled

In BIOS, disable protection and enable the old legacy mode. On YouTube many videos on this topic.

You have to ensure whether the Secure Boot option is enabled or not.
Disable Secure Boot and then restart the device.
Then press "Escape".
Then press "F9".
Select the boot device, that is, the USB in this case.
And Boot from it.
