Darkest of days WAY TOO SLOW
« on: 18. November 2010., 17:38:04 »
I have been trying to run darkest of days for the past few days and it is running so slow and is unplayable. Has anyone had any trouble with this game? I have all settings on max except for PhysX which is on low, Antialiasing is off and anistrophic filtering is off. I thought my rig would of been capable of handling this without too much trouble. I have spent some time looking through start up programs and services that might be slowing it down, turning off NOD32 AV and disabling COMODO firewall and it still seems to happen, not to mention it randomly minimizing and having to use the task manager to bring it back. Are there problems with this game? Are my specs too low? is there maybe something windows is doing that is causing this?

Specs:
M/B Gigabyte X58A-UD3R
CPU i7 930 @ 2.80GHz
RAM GSkill Ripjaw 6GB 1600MHz
GPU Gigabyte GTX460 OC 786MB

It's sad because the idea they had for it was good, If only it had been made better, or at least released some patches to fix the problems as it didn't look horrible, its just unplayable.
