Title: Immunet Protect has gone bad
Post by: luffy on 18. June 2010., 23:50:31
Immunet Protect v2.0 Stable Release just came out.
It comes with ask toolbar and Grab Pro toolbar.
It connects to a remote server in order to display its ads.
I had been using Immunet Protect v1 for over a year. I just uninstalled it because it has gone bad.

Thanks for info Luffy.

I'm not sure... Ask and Grab Toolbars are optional installations or not??

They (Immunet) also have very bad feedback about Toolbars in official support forum: http://support.immunet.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=86&topics_offset=66&topics_sort_mode=lastPost_desc&forumId=1 (http://support.immunet.com/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?comments_parentId=86&topics_offset=66&topics_sort_mode=lastPost_desc&forumId=1)

Some users say that the Toolbars automatically installs. I don't care what the developer will say about the Toolbars. I will not use security software supports adware. They may say you can delete it in the Add/Remove. So what the f*** you put it in the first place? It's time for me to switch to Panda Cloud.

I agree with you, for me it's ok to "offer" installation of Toolbars to user, but not to install them automatically.
