Apple and U2 are giving the new album Songs of Innocence to over 500 million iTunes customers worldwide. Never before have so many people owned one album, let alone on the day of its release.

The collaboration between Apple and U2 began 10 years ago. They have partnered on TV commercials, the first special edition iPod, and (PRODUCT)RED. And today, they are bringing us U2’s latest album in a way no one else can. It’s available to iTunes Store customers exclusively through October 13.
