Chinese electronic is cheap, but...

The quality is also poor. Some equipment works well, but has been build of cheap components. My Tablet, Ainol Tab Novo 7 Basic works well with Android 4.0.3, but is not listed Google Play equipment list. Solution was to load Aptoide Shop. Problem with apps is processor. It is not common known model like Arm. That excludes most of apps away. Cheking of apps says it can not assemble cause it is corrupted. It means it is not compatible with Tab's architecture. It was cheap, only 89 USD. But freight was expensive and I had to buy programs from market. Totally it costed with tax about 200 euros. Now better 7 in Tabs are in the same price ready in land.

There is shops like http://www.e-ville.com which are full of junk. Between them there is suitable equipment like lamps and car equipment. In some electric must be careful. For. ex. MP3 player was especially cheap, but it needs Win XP for loading music. Win 7 destroys the program. The cheap price, the careful must be.  :)

I did not know there was an architecture restriction for android phones. One would say that OS takes care of all that.

Shows how bad android actually is... :s

From what I understand... he says he bought a tablet wich had a cheap, but uncommon, CPU so almost no app was compatible (MIPS processor maybe?)
Thus saying that Android poses almost no restriction to hardware as the OS itself, but some apps might restrict the hardware due to compatibility issues (JNI usage).

Now, if his problem was that he didn't have the playstore... he needs to flash a gapps package.. :p

I partially agree with you... IMO, the basic problem (in Chinese brands) is in quality control, since "most of" well known Companies produces in China and their products (mostly) work well.
