Everet, it would be helpfull if you remember the name of this keylogger. These hidden keyloggers, usually have key combinations(3 or more keyboard keys) which reveall them in the task bar and so you can deactivate them or uninstall them..

After I caught my BF cheating on me several times, I installed this spy software (a keylogger) on my own laptop. I feel so ashamed I did this, but I loved him so much. He told me it would never happen again but I found the suspicion was literally driving here me crazy. After months of thinking about it and thinking "no I could never be THAT person" I finally justified it by saying I was protecting myself. I also read online that as long as you install the keylogger on your own computer, there is nothing illegal about it. Well long story long, I felt so guilty I told him, we broke up. He is rightfully very angry with me. I feel so bad for my stupid mistake in judgement. I regret doing that, so I want to remove this keylogger, but I cannot find it on a program list, how to remove it? Can anyone help me please? Thanks a lot.

It depends on the software that you have installed. Usually keylogger will be hidden from the eyes. You need to find the root folder. That can be easily done depending on the software. But what matters the most is the 'whether you paid for it or a free version? You need to ensure that keylogger software that you installed was a genuine one and not some virus one. There are people spreading virus through the keylogger kinda softwares.

Maybe you can find the uninstall method in the help document of this software.

I think you'd better format your computer. That's the quickest and safest way to remove it. And last time I just did this to get rid of my keylogger on the computer. You can do it if you can't find a better solution!

Hi E., what to say... very sad situation. :(

Don't worry We'll help you to remove this Keylogger.

For the start I need information about name of that Keyloger and from where you download them ??

After that:

1. Scan your PC with BitDefender or Panda Online AntiVirus Scan: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,734.0.html

2. Download & run HijackThis: http://scforum.info/index.php/topic,785.0.html

3. Provide us logs from HijackThis & AntiVirus Online Scan

I'll wait your reply (with logs).

Regards,
