Download: https://app.box.com/s/zarniirt6y9cvixbfc11jatolfx66d4p (Supermicro BIOS update disc v3.5 for H8QGi+-F)

Start MS-Dos setup and abort it. cd to your bios folder, update :)

2015... And Supermicro is convinced everybody still uses floppy drives :(

It was a pain in the ass to update my bios...! It can only be done in MS Dos... NOT Windows DOS!

From http://www.bhargavs.com/index.php/2014/06/13/taking-steps-backwards-update-bios-on-supermicro-servers-with-dos-bootable/

ISO used by me: http://www.syschat.com/download60.html

Might also be good enough for you: http://www.allbootdisks.com/download/iso.html

Extract with 7zip. You will get many folders, among others BOOT and [BOOT]. Copy the BIOS software and images to a new folder.

Use MagicISO or UltraISO to create a new iso file. Make it bootable by importing the file within the [BOOT] folder. Add all other folders to the normal disc layout. Save ISO. Burn it for portable USB dvd player and update your BIOS. See better (longer) instructions in Bhargav's article :)

The article also mentions a remote way of deploying images. I most certainly wanna check that out (IPMI), but time prevents me for now.

Enjoy :/
