What is Google Play Store
Google Play Store is the digital distribution service offered by Google for all people using the Android devices. It is an official app store for people using the Android operating system that will allow the users to browse and download the apps that they would like to regularly use on their devices. No matter one is looking for health apps or lifestyle apps or music apps or movies apps or games, apps, there will be no difficulty in finding the apps needed because there are millions and millions of apps on offer from third-party Android developers in the Play Store.



History of Play Store
The Google Play Store has come into the picture from three different entities: the Android Market, Google Music, and Google eBookstore. The Android market was started by Google in 2008.It started gaining popularity by 2010 and the size of the app was raised from 25MB to 50MB. The Google eBookstore debuted in 2010 with over 3 million books and soon caught the people’s attention. Google Music also was launched in 2011 to offer quality music at nominal prices. The popularity of all Google Play products was increasing and in 2012 Google allowed app developers to expand the file size from 2GB to 4GB. Later in March 2012, Google Play replaced the Android market and in May 2016, Google came out with Play Store app that included all the Android apps.


How to Download Google Play Store?
The Play Store app comes pre-installed in most of the Android devices that are sold in the market. This gives you the freedom to access the Play Store once you open your new phone. If the phone you are using does not have the App, it can be easily downloaded manually from trusted sources.

Look for the latest and genuine Google Play Store APK file on the internet from your Android device.
Tap on the APK file that you have chosen to download it on the device.
Next, Go to Settings option on your phone and then tap on the Security option.
Now look for the Unknown source option and tap on it to open it so that any app can be downloaded on the phone from any source.
Now, look for the Play Store APK file in the ‘downloads’ folder and tap on it to start installing the Play Store app on your Android phone.
Once installed, tap on the Play Store icon and the app will open on your phone instantly.
How Open Play Store
If you are using Android phones, then you should know that the phone has the Play Store app pre-installed on the device. To open the Play Store app on your phone, you need to locate the app icon on your home screen. It could be in the Apps section on your phone. Once you locate it, you just need to tap on it to open it on your phone.



If you are opening the Play Store app for the very first time on your Android phone, then you will have to sign in to Play Store account to get access to the app. Once you tap on the icon, you will be taken to an ‘add an account’ page. Here, you need to enter your email address and password of the Google account that you possess and then click on the Existing option. Follow the instructions that come-on the screen thereafter to sign into Google Play and open the app on your phone.

Updating Play Store apps
There will be regular updates made on the Android apps offered through Google Play Store. In order for the app to function smoothly and without any glitches or interruptions, it is always important to update the app whenever an update is done. This way you will get access to all new inclusions and features added to the app.

Go to Play Store app by tapping on the icon on your home screen or in the apps section.
Once you are in the app, tap on the menu button that is shown as three dots on top right corner of the screen.
IN the drop down menu, tap on ‘My apps’.
It will instantly show a list of all the apps that you have on your device and also indicate the apps that need to be updated with an update option on the right side.
Click on the update option for the app that you want to update and the process will automatically start. Once done, you will have the latest version of the app on your phone.

There are tons and tons of games in various genres offered for free in the Play Store app. There are even premium games on offer that can be downloaded and installed on your device to play anything you want after paying the fee for the game.



Got to Google Play Store app by tapping on the Play Store icon on the phone’s home screen.
Tap on the Apps & Games option.
You can choose any of the categories or even search in the Google search option you see on top of the screen to find the game that you want.
Once the game that you want is displayed on the screen, tap on it to visit the homepage of the app.
Locate the install option by scrolling the screen down and then tap on it.
The game will now get downloaded and automatically installed on your home in the apps section. Go there and click on the game app icon to enter the game.

There is an option called the Add a payment method in the Google Play Store My account menu. You can make use of credit or debit cards to make payments for the apps that you purchase from Play Store.
