Anti-virus software must/should be updated every day.  Doing that manually is easy to forget.

Set your auto-update to update daily (e.g. at 7:00 in the morning, or a few minutes after login). Everything else is unsafe!

Default is already set automatically.In my case default is local time 17:00

McAfee enterprise 8.5 patch 8!!

i guess the problem is caused by proxy setting.

the proxy setting is configured in user profile rather than local machine. So, the antivirus engine cannot access internet after logout
