FEBE Is Perhaps The Most Useful Extension I Have Ever Seen.

It Allows, Among Other Features, To Backup All Extensions, You Are Already Using, As Individual .XPI Files.

If You Want To Install An Extension You Have Used In The Past, But Can Not Find It In The MOZILLA Site, You Can:

A - Install The .XPI File, You Have Previously Saved, And After That,

B - Search For Updates, To Use The Most Recent Version.

I don't know any extension which will work like FEBE, but (IMO) the easiest/best method (for Chrome) is to use "Sync" option: Here you have more information: https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/185277

You can choose what you want to Sync, https://support.google.com/chromebook/answer/1281195?hl=en-GB or if you want everything Sync'd. For example: Extensions, Settings, Apps, Auto-Fill, Bookmarks, Password, Themes or even Open Tabs. You can also choose a non-google password as your pass-phrase to access the backed up Chrome data.

Also, You can export bookmarks to a HTML file from the Bookmarks Manager (click on Organize): https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/96816?hl=en-GB

Yep, Sync is the way to go. Even I don't complain. There are very few extensions that won't cross-over to a new installation (if any?).

I Finally Found A FEBE For The CHROME Family.

Extension ID - EILJHBJAMIIKJJLDHNEPILLCEOHGLBJH

It Saves Individual Files Into The .ZIP Format.

The extension offers several configuration options to customize the backup tasks, and can also do scheduled backups.

FEBE was rated 4/5 by Softonic, who stated that the extension lets users "create a backup copy of all the important information in [their] browser (...) and restore it in a different location, all in a very easy way."

I have used FEBE and I must say that I am quite impressed.
